A tailor made air safari in a private charter aircraft

Chinta Tours offers air safaris across the Australian Outback. Travel from Uluru - in the heart of the Red Centre - to Adelaide, and visit the Opal Capital of Australia and the exciting Flinders Ranges on the way.

Day One: Uluru (D)
Uluru is the heart of the Red Centre of Australia. To watch the sun set while enjoying a glass of sparkling wine and dining on a gourmet Outback Barbecue is a fabulous start to any experience.
Accommodation: Spa Room at the Sails in the Desert Hotel, with buffet breakfast.

Day Two: Coober Pedy (B, L, D)
The day starts with a scenic flight over Uluru and Kata Tjuta, before flying South over the Great Victoria Desert to Coober Pedy - the Opal Capital of the World. In this remote community, enjoy a glimpse of life underground - most residents live underground to escape the searing summer heat. Activities include a shared, small-group tour of the town, with local guide. Highlights are a visit to an underground home, an underground church, and down an opal mine.
Estimated Flight Time: 2.5 hours from Uluru to Coober Pedy.
Accommodation: One night in the world´s only underground hotel, with three course evening meal and buffet breakfast.

Day Three: Flinders Ranges (B, L, D)
Depart Coober Pedy by plane for South Australia´s smalles town - William Creek, with a population of 15. A visit to William Creek gives a glimpse into life in a remote Outback community. Farwell William Creek for a scenic flight over Lake Eyre - Australia´s largest salt lake - before flying South along the Flinders Ranges and Wilpena Pound before landing at an Outbakc sheep station. The rugged rocky landscape of the Flinders Ranges has inspired painters and poets for generations.
EFT: 2.5 hours from Coober Pedy to Flinders Ranges.
Accommodation: One night in an award-winning eco-villa with two course evening meal, and breakfast.

Day Four: Adelaide (B, L)
Spend the morning on a shared, small-group 4WD tour with a knowledgeable local guide to discover the wildlife and stories of this stunning scenery. After lunch, enjoy a scenic flight to Adelaide - the Festival Capital of Australia.
EFT: 1.5 hours.
ETA in Adelaide: 5.00pm.

Option: This tour can be extended to include two days of guided, small-group touring on Kangaroo Island, with accommodation in a luxury bed and breakfast. Accommodation includes all meals featuring Island food and wine. Kangaroo Island is the ideal opportunity to see native Australian wildlife, in the wild.
